In the News...

Former New England Patriots linebacker Ted Johnson is calling out Captain Asswipe--aka Bill Belichick--over the latter forcing him to practice while he had a concussion, a condition worsened by butting heads at 2002 practices. As a result of these repeated blows, Ted claims his post-career excellent adventure includes forgetting people's names, missing appointments, suffering from depression and an addiction to aphetimines.

Um...correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't that last one be a cause of the other problems, rather than an effect of concussions? I know I missed plenty of appointments--work and school, mostly--when I was addicted to greenies.

Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series is living on past what was supposed to be the final installment. A comic book...sorry...graphic novel...based on the series and protagonist Roland Deschain comes out next week. King's own involvement appears to be about 25%, except for his name in 24-pt font on the cover. I might have to buy this just because I haven't bought a comic book...sorry...graphic novel...since I was 8 and my Mommy used to let me walk to the store on Pine St. List price is $4 and it reportedly takes 6 minutes to read. But I'm sure it's awesome.

I was gonna post at Up For Sports today, but there's something brilliant up there already and I don't want to push it down the page. Prepare to laugh your collective asses off. And tune in tomorrow or Sunday for my "Super Bowl Fun Facts" and read about how Joe Montana contributed to me breaking my face.

And I'd be remiss if I didn't point out The Last Poker Game from Otis. Sweet Merciful Infant Baby Jesus he's good.

Go Bears.

If you buy it, you can call it a comic book. If you don't buy it, you have to call it a graphic nvoel. Geek double standards.

Hey there,

I was just reading your blog and am in the midst of starting my own poker blog, http://blog.pokeraffiliated.com which is in the works and will be a poker marketing blog dedicated to poker affiliates as well as internet marketers.
I have a vision and its close to what your already doing with your site, so I must commend you on that. Anyway keep up the good work, if its not too much trouble would you be able to link back to me? Any help would be appreciated, if not its okay, but I will be certain to link to your page.

Regards,

Hi, I'm 20 and I've begun to play at poker 6 months ago. I've found a gambling site, which offers good services. You can play at texas holdem online in our poker room or online casino, blackjack and online bingo. It's My Gnuf and it's a new online casino and poker site.
